We also got him a bigger bathtub that he loves. So now our evening routine is to let him start sleeping around 6:00. When he wakes up a couple hours later we give him a warm bath which he loves, then I nurse him and play French lullabies. And he sleeps! Some nights it's taken a few tries of convincing him to stay asleep but last night he went down very easily. All Mexican mothers swear by the trick of adding water with boiled romaine lettuce to the bath to calm the baby. Who knows why/how/if this works, but last night Jack slept for 4.5 hours without waking up which is his record, so I am sticking with the lettuce. He also has started falling asleep much easier for the night time feedings. He obviously knows it's nighttime, and gets grumpy if I have to turn the light on for something (usually to observe the diaper situation - though I did manage one last night with the light off). I can see the light at the end of the tunnel where he will truly sleep through the night and not need eat. But until then, I am happy to get up and feed him - it's much easier now than it was even a couple weeks ago.

Lettuce water for the tub?! Now that's a new one! But if it works, then do it. :) He's looking good.
